Medallions were purchased for the Society of Saint John DeMatha. Duncan McKeever received the Medallions for the Society of St. John DeMatha. These Medallions are to be worn by the Society while at the prison and during times of ministry work
The Blessing of the House opened with Mass on April 3, 2015 with Cardinal Daniel DiNardo as the Celebrant and Fr. Drew Wood, Fr. Roy Ogerro and many other priests as cocelebrants. Deacon Al Bothe, the founder of the Society of St. John DeMatha was present to assist the Cardinal. It was a beautiful morning in the open air chapel on the grounds of the Magnificat House Ministry with Mary Thompson leading in the music. All of the Board members and many of the Members who facilitate the courses of the SSJD attended the Mass and the House Blessing. There were approximately 75 participants for that morning Dedication Mass.
Renovations of St. John DeMatha Rosary House The Society of St. John DeMatha with the help of St. Laurence Parishioners and Habitat for Humanity and under the direction of Richard Hogan renovated the St. John DeMatha Rosary House. Many people volunteered and donated time, effort, and furniture to the house.
